| We are a fast growing renewable energy information company with offices in UK and China, and we are looking for someone with a technical background and/or renewable energy technical knowledge to work in our industry directory department in China. The job will start in summer 2009, and will be an open contract with an 18-month minimum period. Compensation ENF will provide accommodation within a shared apartment with other employees. Salary will be low but it will be around double the salary we pay to our Chinese staff and allows for a comfortable lifestyle in China. ENF will pay for your flight to and from China, and your visa application fees. In addition there are salary reviews every 6 months. Key skill requirements Candidates should have good knowledge of renewable energy technology or have a strong technical background that you can absorb the details of renewable energy technologies very quickly. Good communication skills are needed, as well as good project planning abilities. You don’t need to be able to speak any Chinese as all employees are fluent in English. We will accept candidates with a renewable energy / photovoltaic / solar thermal degree and no work experience, but people with a different technical background must have some working experience to apply. Job Details The job will be to work on ENF's industry directory. This will involve classifying companies by technology, writing descriptions of trade shows, promoting ENF’s website among renewable websites, etc.ENF’s current solar power industry directory can be found on our website. Further Information about Wuhu - There is little night life and bars in the city as Chinese people prefer to drink in restaurants. This means that people who like to go out drinking a lot will be disappointed with the social options. - We are based in real China. Unlike Beijing and Shanghai, there are very few foreigners in Wuhu so if you just want to hang around with Europeans only there won't be much choice. On the positive side the city is well developed and clean. There are some global supermarket chains in the city showing food labels in English, and large department stores which make shopping easy. |

| An excellent opportunity exists to work in China for a fast growing successful solar power company. You will work in Anhui, China with a team of English-speaking Chinese analysts and other Western employees. The job will start in autumn 2008 and will be an open contract with an 18 month minimum period. No knowledge of Chinese is needed, and experience in the renewable energy industry is not required (although it would be a strong plus). Industry directory manager In this role you will maintain and grow ENF’s industry directory of photovoltaic companies. We also have a second role for someone to build and grow a directory of solar thermal companies. Both roles involve a lot of internet research, and also managing a team of several people who will also undertake internet research.
