| We are a fast growing renewable energy information company with offices in UK and China, and we are looking for a business analyst with market research experience to work in China. The job will start in summer 2009, and will be an open contract with an 18-month minimum period. Compensation ENF will provide accommodation within a shared apartment with other employees. Salary will be low but it will be around double the salary we pay to our Chinese staff and allows for a very comfortable lifestyle in China. ENF will pay for your flight to and from China + your visa fees. In addition there are salary reviews every 6 months. Key skill requirements You don’t need to be able to speak any Chinese as all employees are fluent in English, and you don’t need any background in the photovoltaic or renewable energy industry. However, we do require that the candidate has market research or business analysis experience. Job Details The job will be to work on ENF's market research reports - calling up company managers around the world to interview them about the details of their company, and then analysing the results from the primary data collection. Examples of the projects ENF undertakes can be found on our website. Note: Candidates must be willing to work on different time zones based on the projects they are working on. Eg. Unlike Beijing and Shanghai, there are very few foreigners in Wuhu so if you just want to hang around with Europeans only there won't be much choice. On the positive side the city is well developed and clean. There are some global supermarket chains in the city showing food labels in English, and large department stores which make shopping easy. |

| Pressemitteilung des Bundesverbandes Solarwirtschaft (BSW) vom 17.01.2007 zur BAU 2007 in München - Solares Bauen wird zum Megatrend München, 17.01.07 - Der Einsatz von Solarenergie in Gebäuden gewinnt immer mehr an Bedeutung. Wie der Bundesverband Solarwirtschaft e. V. (BSW) anlässlich der BAU 2007 in München mitteilte, werde die Mehrzahl der Neubauten bereits im Jahr 2030 mit Solarenergie beheizt. Auch bei der Sanierung des Gebäudebestands könne Solarwärme dann mehr als 70 Prozent des Energiebedarfs decken. Langfristig werde nach BSW-Einschätzung zudem rund ein Viertel des deutschen Strombedarfs aus Solaranlagen gedeckt, die in die Gebäudehülle integriert sind. Im Mix mit anderen Erneuerbaren Energien werde eine Vollversorgung mit heimisch verfügbaren Erneuerbaren Energien möglich. Nach Einschätzung des Schweizer Bankhauses Sarasin könne zukünftig allein Solarenergie zur Einsparung von rund einem Drittel der europäischen Ölimporte beitragen. "Als dezentrale Energiequelle sowie als Bau- und Gestaltungselement erfreut sich Solartechnik bei Bauherren und Architekten immer größerer Beliebtheit. Die BAU 2007 macht die Vision von vollständig solar versorgten Häusern greifbar und zeigt die Leistungsstärke und Innovationskraft deutscher Solarunternehmen im Bausektor", sagt BSW-Geschäftsführer Carsten Körnig. Führende Solarunternehmen sind dieses Jahr auf der Sonderausstellung SOLARHORIZONTE der Baubranchen-Leitmesse vertreten. Nach BSW-Angaben könne der Wärmebedarf neuer Gebäude schon heute zu 100 Prozent aus Solarenergie gedeckt werden. Zur wirtschaftlich optimierten Wärmevollversorgung aus Erneuerbaren Energien werde im Neubau gerne auf eine Kombination von Solar- und Bioenergie zurückgegriffen. Auch im Gebäudebestand lasse sich bei intelligenter Planung schon jetzt eine erhebliche Betriebskostensenkung erzielen. Doch nicht nur die solaren Erträge - und damit die Einsparungen - werden höher, auch die Einsatzmöglichkeiten von Solarkomponenten steigen. "Solaranlagen lassen sich harmonisch in den Gebäudeentwurf integrieren und erfüllen alle Ansprüche an zeitgemäßes Baumaterial", sagt der Architekt Peter Bachschuster. Ein von ihm zur BAU 07 vorgestelltes Bürogebäude in Ingolstadt kommt weitgehend ohne fossile Brennstoffe aus. Harmonisch in die Fassade integrierte Dünnschicht (CIS) - Solarmodule sorgen für den kompletten Strombedarf der Wärmepumpen fürs Kühlen und Heizen des Gebäudes. Die Markteinführung der Solarenergie wird in Deutschland durch attraktive und kalkulierbare staatliche Rahmenbedingungen begünstigt. Die Förderung von Solarwärme erfolgt durch das Marktanreizprogramm der Bundesregierung, das Anfang des Jahres noch einmal aufgestockt wurde. Der Betrieb von Solarstromanlagen ist durch die im Erneuerbare-Energien-Gesetz (EEG) garantierte Einspeisevergütung und Vorrangregelung wirtschaftlich attraktiv. Insgesamt sind in Deutschland bereits über eine Million Solaranlagen in Betrieb. Auch in Europa wird die Bedeutung Erneuerbarer Energien erkannt. Die EU-Kommission hatte jüngst einen Anteil der Erneuerbaren Energien bis 2020 von 20 Prozent an der gesamten Energiebereitstellung empfohlen. Carsten Körnig: "Wir sind zuversichtlich, dass Angela Merkel die EU-Ratspräsidentschaft nutzen wird, diese Zielsetzung auf mindestens 25 Prozent zu erhöhen und durch sektorale Ziele zu unterfüttern. Wir werden sie bei dieser wichtigen Aufgabe unterstützen."
