We are looking for someone who is fluent in English. The job is in a city called Wuhu in China’s Anhui a Province for fixed commitment 6 months with the prospects of furthering career in ENF. This is an opportunity to work in a high growth Renewable Energy Industry. Job Responsibilities Our trade department source solar products from select manufacturers in China with a focus on quality. This position has been designed to develop sales of solar products around the world. • Trade Intern will assist European companies to purchase solar products (in particular panels) from China. • Responsible for daily direct contact with the customer, maintaining relationships, and facilitating contracts that usually range between €50,000 to €20,000,000. A high proportion of time is spent on the phone: cold calls to new customers, responding to in-bound customer enquiries and continued contact with existing customers. • Responsible facilitating negotiations, introducing customers to manufacturers, site visits, etc. • Work closely with Chinese colleagues (fluent in English) who provide support with pricing/purchasing and logistics. • Responsible for continuous awareness about the market, products, trends, etc. while at the same time developing new partnerships, maintaining relationships with existing customers and anticipating overall future needs. • If graduating to full-time trade executive then travel to Europe is likely 2 to 3 times a year for meeting new customers and maintaining existing relationships. This one day Solar Integration Workshop will be held for the first time and in conjunction with the 10th International Workshop on Large-scale Integration of Wind Power into Power Systems as well as on Transmission Networks for Offshore Wind Power Plants. Erneuerbare Energie ist die Lösung für den Klimaschutz. Doch wer internationale Projekte im Megawatt-Bereich umsetzen möchte, trifft auf eine Reihe von Hindernissen. Eine neue Datenbank kann helfen. Die Eutropa AG (Gräfelfing bei München) stellt Projektentwicklern und Investoren mit dem interaktiven Projekt-Management-System MOREP - Management Of Renewable Energy Projects – ein völlig neues Werkzeug zur Verfügung. Über MOREP werden Projekte für umweltfreundliche Energieerzeugung von "early stage" bis hin zur Finanzierungsreife entwickelt und vermittelt. Der Zugang zu MOREP ist frei, die angebotenen Projekte können in der MOREP-Datenbank in anonymisierter Form eingesehen werden (eutropa.de). Der Vorteil von MOREP: Das Eutropa Management selektiert Projekte nach ihrem Reifegrad und prüft die in die Datenbank eingestellten Projekte nach ihrer Bankfähigkeit. Die mittlerweile 21. Summer School Renewable Energy findet in diesem Jahr vom 16. August bis 1. September auf dem Solar-Campus des Standorts Jülich der Fachhochschule (FH) Aachen statt. Der zweieinhalbwöchige Sommerkurs steht wieder ganz im Zeichen der "Regenerativen Energien" und bietet einen umfassenden Überblick über Potenziale und Nutzungsmöglichkeiten erneuerbarer Energiequellen, aber auch über rationelle Energieverwendung. Die Fachvorträge, Übungen, Exkursionen und Projektarbeiten richten sich an Studierende aller Fachrichtungen ab dem vierten Semester. Bis zum 28. Juli 2006 können sich rund 40 Sommerschüler und -schülerinnen aus der ganzen Welt für den prall gefüllten Terminplan anmelden. Vormittags stehen Fachvorträge aus Lehre, Forschung und Industrie auf dem Programm. In Praktika werden Solaranlagen simuliert. Exkursionen beispielsweise zur FORTBILDUNGsakademie Mont-Cenis in Herne, zum Wasserkraftwerk Heimbach oder zum Tagebau Hambach runden die Summer School ab. Auch der gesellige Teil kommt erfahrungsgemäß nicht zu kurz. "Grundlegender Gedanke des breit angelegten Seminars ist es, unterschiedliche Dis-ziplinen langfristig miteinander zu verknüpfen und die Studierenden zum vernetzten Denken und Handeln anzuregen", so Carola Schneiders. Themen wie Energiesparen, Nutzung der unerschöpflichen Energiequellen Wind, Wasser, Sonne oder Biomasse gewinnen in der Diskussion um eine umweltverträgliche Energiepolitik zunehmend an Bedeutung. Regenerativen Energien gehört die Zukunft - und an der FH Aachen wird an dieser Zukunft kräftig mitgearbeitet: Das Solar-Institut Jülich der FH Aachen fasst Lehre, Forschung und Entwicklung auf diesem Gebiet zusammen und gibt dieses Know-How in der nun schon traditionellen Summer School Renewable Energy an Studierende aller Fachrichtungen weiter. Bis zum 28. Juli 2006 können sich Interessierte für die 21. Summer School Renewable Energy anmelden. Die Teilnahmegebühr beträgt 200,- €.
