The 2nd "Thin-Film Industry Forum" will look at all the issues around thin-film technology - from the political environment, through international market development, finance and marketing, to sales, production capacity, availability of materials, quality assurance and recycling. The Thin-Film Industry Forum will form a key event that will bring the players of the solar industry together with representatives from politics, the financial world, the press and the industry's suppliers. Between the sessions, the forum will offer excellent networking opportunities in a relaxed atmosphere. 2nd Photovoltaic Thin-Film Week: The forum is embedded in the 2nd Photovoltaic Thin-Film Week, which is being held as a joint event organized by Solarpraxis, the Competence Centre Thin-Film- and Nanotechnology for Photovoltaics Berlin (PVcomB). The PV Thin-Film Week is the world's unique week devoted to thin-film photovoltaics and combines specialized, scientific workshops with a practical industry forum on topics such as market development, production and financing. Both scientists as well as executives and managers from the solar industry will meet at this international event in Adlershof. Additionally investors and representatives from the press and politics are expected. The 1st PV Thin-Film Week in April 2009 with its 450 participants was the world´s biggest thin-film event. The 2nd week will build on this success and again create a unique bridge between science and industry. Thanks to its unique combination of topics and target groups, the Forum offers the ideal arena for establishing new business contacts and initiating co-operative ventures. |
