| We are a fast growing renewable energy information company with offices in UK and China, and we are looking for a business analyst with market research experience to work in China. The job will start in summer 2009, and will be an open contract with an 18-month minimum period. Compensation ENF will provide accommodation within a shared apartment with other employees. Salary will be low but it will be around double the salary we pay to our Chinese staff and allows for a very comfortable lifestyle in China. ENF will pay for your flight to and from China + your visa fees. In addition there are salary reviews every 6 months. Key skill requirements You don’t need to be able to speak any Chinese as all employees are fluent in English, and you don’t need any background in the photovoltaic or renewable energy industry. However, we do require that the candidate has market research or business analysis experience. Job Details The job will be to work on ENF's market research reports - calling up company managers around the world to interview them about the details of their company, and then analysing the results from the primary data collection. Examples of the projects ENF undertakes can be found on our website. Note: Candidates must be willing to work on different time zones based on the projects they are working on. Eg. When undertaking research among European companies, staff will work 2pm until 11pm. Further Information About Wuhu It is important for us that our new staff are stable and happy, so we would like to point out a few potential negatives to potential candidates: - There is little night life and bars in the city as Chinese people prefer to drink in restaurants. This means that people who like to go out drinking a lot will be disappointed with the social options. - We are based in real China. Unlike Beijing and Shanghai, there are very few foreigners in Wuhu so if you just want to hang around with Europeans only there won't be much choice. On the positive side the city is well developed and clean. There are some global supermarket chains in the city showing food labels in English, and large department stores which make shopping easy. |

Your future major activities: As Mechanical Engineer for solar technologies (f/m) you will be responsible for the local inspection and supervision of HTF systems and parabolic troughs. You will be responsible for the collector’s installation as well as the pre-commissioning and commissioning of the solar field. Furthermore you will supervise the progress of construction of the assembly hall and monitor the solar field regarding quality and testing. More activities: - Compliance with contractual conditions and specifications - Witness the performance guarantee test and the solar irradiation measurement - elaborating reports - Monitoring during construction, erection and commissioning in order to verify the progress of the works as compared to the actual program, review the erection log, review the quality control records and perform detailed visual inspections of critical items according to the parabolic troughs and HTF System - multimedia documentation (photos and movies) Qualifications: - experienced with mechanical engineering and monitoring of construction sites in the field of power stations (solar energy preferred) - Excellent organizational and negotiation skills - Fluency in written and spoken English (and French) - Willing to work in Morocco - Quick adjustment to a new job in complex systems Furthermore you should follow an autonomous, pro active and solution oriented approach.
